What to Expect?

Your first session is a full evaluation: your history, range of motion, strength and functional testing, and a review of your current training.

You leave with a plan, a suggested number of visits and exercises you can do on your own. The goal is to give you the tools to help yourself.

Do you take insurance?

Physical therapy is out-of-network with all insurance companies. You get an itemized superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement based on your plan.

Why out-of-network?

It allows a full 60 minutes of 1-on-1 time with every patient, without insurance deciding who, how and when care happens.

How many sessions will I need?

After your evaluation, Rachel gives you a prognosis and a suggested number of visits. Patients are usually seen less often, because the goal is to give you tools to help yourself.

What conditions do you treat?

Orthopedic conditions in active people of all ages, including prenatal and postpartum care, pelvic health, shoulder and hip rehabilitation, and return to running and lifting.

Is every session 1-on-1?

Yes. You have Rachel’s undivided attention for your entire 60-minute session.

Can I contact you between sessions?

Yes. Patients can reach Rachel by email with questions that come up between visits.

Can I go from physical therapy into classes?

Yes. Many women start with physical therapy after an injury or birth, then transition into small-group strength training.

Do you work with pregnant and postpartum women?

Yes. Rachel is certified in obstetric physical therapy (CAPP-OB) and has post-doctorate education in prenatal and postpartum care.

How do I book a physical therapy visit?
