Why strength train in perimenopause?

Strength training helps you maintain muscle mass, bone density and metabolic health as hormones change, and it builds confidence in and out of the gym.

What is the impact and jumping part?

The last 10 to 15 minutes of class are plyometric and impact work, scaled to your level, to build power and stimulate your bones.

Do I need strength training experience?

No. Many members are new to lifting. Your coach teaches every movement and adjusts the weight and exercise to where you are right now.

I have joint pain. Can I still join?

Often, yes. Every movement can be adjusted. If pain is limiting you, start with 1-on-1 physical therapy and move into class when you are ready.

Am I too old to start lifting?

No. Women start at every age, and your coach will build you up gradually from wherever you are today.

How big are the classes?

Small. Groups are capped at 10 women, so you get real coaching on your form while still training with a supportive group.

Is this class only for women in perimenopause?

It is designed for perimenopause and beyond, so you train with women in the same stage of life.

How many classes a week should I do?

Memberships come in 4, 8 or 12 classes a month. Two or three classes a week is a great goal once you are settled in.

How do I get started?

Purchase your trial class, come in and meet your coach, then choose the membership that fits your schedule and goals.
